Let’s gather again this Monday at the Tap House, 5:30pm, upstairs. To continue our theme from last week (Passover and connections with Easter), read this excellent post from 2013: The Middle by Jenna Kemp (who was, at the time, working towards an MA in biblical studies at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California).
Jenna describes how much of life is lived in the middle, and that the Passover, although it was a huge deliverance for the people, led them into a period of living in uncertainty, albeit with some sense of purpose. I’m wondering if there’s some wisdom here that the Christian celebration of resurrection and Easter could draw upon.
Give it a read. See if there are any parallels worth noting. Come ready to talk.
See you there.
