Hey Pub Theologians,
I will be out in South Dakota on Monday, so we won’t be gathering for the usual discussion.
Instead, I have two alternate activities to present for you:
- On Monday at 6:00 p.m., the group from Mount Olive that is leading the Reconciling In Christ discussion will be gathering at Life’s Too Short to finalize a letter for the August congregational newsletter. They wish to invite you all to participate as you are able.
- On Friday (July 15th) at 7:00 p.m. at Mount Olive, one of our youth will be leading a 90 minute “experiment” that she is pioneering for a theology project. She needs participants! Her description:
[The Project] is to collect information for the essay that I am required to write for attending the Augsburg Youth Theology Institute. We each were asked to come up with our own prompt. The prompt that I have created is talking about how [scripture] text and our environment change our perception of each. We will meet at Mount Olive Lutheran Church at 7:00 on Friday night, and go onto three different locations which I have chosen. I will ask some questions about the space, read the text (John 10:10), and then ask you more questions. I would really appreciate it if you would be willing to participate. Thank you!!!
Thanks, all. See you next week.
